On Wednesday 6th May 2020 the editorial office of The Warsaw Institute Review organized its 3rd experts debate titled „Germany: Energiewende, atom and Nord Stream 2”. Similary to previous events of the series, the debate took place in a form of a live broadcast, beginning with experts’ speeches, and then going to Q&A session, during which the viewers were able to ask questions through social media.
On April 29, 2020, The Warsaw Institute Review team held another expert debate ‘Disinformation – Russian Strategic Weapon Yesterday and Today’. The event, organized in the form of live broadcast, allowed active participation of our spectators through social media channels.
On April 22nd, 2020, the editorial office of The Warsaw Institute Review organized an expert debate titled “USA versus China: Rivalry for influence in Central and Eastern Europe”. The event took place in the form of live broadcasts, allowing viewership and active involvement in the debate through social media in the face of the pandemic.

B9 JACU – the Bucharest Nine Joint Assessment for Common Understanding – saw its initiation take place at an event on Monday 16.12.2019, at Centrum Prasowe Foksal, in Warsaw.
On the evening of 11 December 2019, at the University of Warsaw’s Faculty of Information Journalism and Bibliology building, a unique and remarkably important event took place, featuring a panellist debate titled “New Polonia: mobility, identity and action in the digital age”. The meeting was organised in accompaniment to the presentation of The Warsaw Institute Review (WIR)’s latest report: “In pursuit of utopia. Poles in the world, Poland in the eyes of the world”. The event was attended and filmed by a team from TVP Polonia.
The Bucharest Nine Joint Assessment for Common Understanding, or B9 JACU, is a daring, unprecedented project bringing together research institutions and think tanks from each of the B9 countries, together with the support from Embassies of each of the B9 countries in Warsaw.
The Warsaw Institute Review’s (WIR) latest expert debate, titled “Message, fake news and disinformation in public space”, took place on December 3 this year in the Main Auditorium of the Old Library of the University of Warsaw.
An international conference on Poland’s partnership with the Baltic States was held on November 28 in Warsaw, Poland as a forum to discuss vital issues pertaining to defense and energy sector. At the event, representatives for five think tanks from Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia signed a joint declaration on the establishment of the Baltic Fund.
