Scholarship holder in the field of national security, intelligence and information operations at the Daniel Morgan Graduate School of National Security in Washington, DC and two semesters as Erasmus program student at Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg. He gained analytical experience during internships, among others at The International Security Policy Department of the Ministry of National Defense and Department of Strategic Analyses of the National Security Bureau.
President of Taiwan – Tsai Ing-wen, began her second term in the office on May 20, 2020. In the inaugural address, several themes were also devoted to the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and Taiwan-Beijing relations.
At the end of April, Constitution Protection Bureau (SAB), Latvia’s most important intelligence service, published an annual report which presents threats to the national security of their country. There were also several references to the increasing influence and attacks from China.
